Microwave Component Design

Antennas are never stand-alone devices. Interaction with various electronic devices may require filtering, (de)multiplexing, DC blockage, etc. Operating frequencies today push manufacturability of discrete components to the very limit and even in simulation level, sometimes it is not enough to simply connect a device to a port and more complex modeling is sometimes necessary.

I don’t compromise on the fine details. For me the electromagnetic design process never ends at a coaxial connector. I have designed IF diplexers, digital control signal integrity simulations, transient and frequency domain analysis, filters and all in various types of manufacturing techniques. Be it metallic\dielectric\integrated waveguides, rigid and flexible PCBs and SiPs.

Some of the services I can provide:

  • Printed filter design, simulation and testing
  • Discrete component filters, including choice of physical components
  • Extraction of electrical properties, e.g. capacitance and inductance.
  • SPICE modeling
  • Frequency diplexer design.
  • Package design for RF\IF bands
  • Integration of active components into simulation
