Experience
2017 – 2023 – Antenna Engineer, 60GHz, Qualcomm
Design from concept to fabrication of Antennas for various telecom applications. Broadband 60GHz (WiGIG), Automotive radar at 80GHz, 5G base stations and client modules and finally hybrid 60G\5G Antennas. Constant collaboration with RFIC teams, requiring technical knowledge of RF chains. Usage of CST, HFSS, ADS for simulation work.
During the work, many times additional algorithms for beam-forming, optimization, measurement automation were developed. While working on the Radar project, I took the liberty to learn about radar basics and radar imaging, also reviewing subjects such as spatial filtering (MVDR, Maximum likelihood).
2014 – 2017 – Humavox, EM Engineer
Development of solutions in the area of wireless charging. Design and implementation of charging devices using CST, from the simulated proof of concept, up to the mass production. Numerical courses studied during my M.Sc. Degree contributed to the understanding and usage of the CAD software and it’s solvers. This position allowed a Full-Stack approach, giving me the opportunity to experience work with RF-circuitry, broadcast chains. Providing EMC solutions to European FCC standards, while measuring the suggested solutions in an anechoic chamber.
2012 – 2014 – Sightec, GPGPU algorithm developer
Implementation of super-resolution and image registration algorithm using CUDA and OpenCL. Code development was done in a completely open-source environment, using Eclipse in Linux.
2011 – 2012 – BGU, Research assistant
Establishing the image processing lab, in addition to writing hardware interfaces to MATLAB using the MEX interface. Used various C\C++ libraries such as MFC\.NET, OpenCV, OpenGL, CUDA.
